Description

The Early Years Learning Framework is one of the foundational documents of the National Quality Framework, and is an educator's best resource when planning for children's learning. This intensive and practice-focused workshop will dispel the myths and answer the big questions about the Framework, including where it's come from, why it's so important for children and educators, and how to utilise it every day.

This workshop is suitable for Centre Directors and Educational Leaders. Participants will receive a Resource Pack that can be taken back to your service.


Suitable for: Early childhood settings, Family day care.

NQS Standards: 1.1 (Program), 1.2 (Practice), 1.3 (Assessment and planning), 3.2 (Use of physical environment), 4.2 (Professionalism) 5.1 (Relationships between educators and children), 5.2 (Relationships between children), 7.2 (Leadership).

Presenters: Anna Whitty is an experienced leader in the early childhood sector, and has a strong commitment to leadership that enables early childhood professionals to be fearless in standing up for children, educators and the importance of early childhood education.

Liam McNicholas has worked in a range of roles in early childhood education, as well as writing and broadcasting regularly on issues affecting early childhood education in Australia.

This workshop will include a light lunch.
