Description

Dilly bags are traditional Indigenous Australian bags woven with fibre. Learn how to weave your own dilly bag, learn about its traditional uses and listen to Aunty Bronwyn Razem’s family stories of the cultural traditions and practices of weaving. Bring your own lunch.

This masterclass is part of The Design Series - a series of exclusive National Wool Museum masterclasses exploring creativity with fibre, showcasing creative people and paying tribute to Geelong's recent designation as a UNESCO City of Design. Please note that this event is taking place on the second level of the National Wool Museum. Unfortunately the Museum doesn't have a lift. All levels are accessible via a ramp. Please allow additional time to make your way up to the top level of the Museum. Benches are available at all levels to have a break if required.
