Event Details

The procurement reforms announced by Assistant Minister for Digital Transformation Angus Taylor in August are intended to fundamentally disrupt the Federal Government ICT market status quo.

Intermedium’s briefing on Tuesday, 21 November The Changing Profile of Federal ICT Procurement: Results to Date and Impacts to Come will provide you with the insights you need during this critical period of reform.

Among a slew of measures, the Federal Government’s reform agenda is aimed squarely at improving procurement outcomes for Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) – an approach that will have a major effect on the broader ICT landscape.

As well as unpacking the Federal Government’s procurement reform, Intermedium’s Principal Analyst Judy Hurditch will provide observations about market trends arising from contract and budget analysis not otherwise obtainable.

The briefing will cover the impact of major ICT activities such as

  • The massive 2017-18 ICT budget

  • The DTA’s ongoing work program,

  • Defence’s slew of multi-million-dollar projects,

  • DIBP’s 10-year modernisation agenda;

  • Developments in the cloud market; and

  • The Federal Government’s position as the national lead on cybersecurity.

Other reasons to attend…

  • Learn where the Federal ICT market is headed;

  • Receive key budget initiative and contract spend analysis;

  • Discover who topped the agency and supplier leader boards in 2015-16 and why; and

  • Network with industry and government colleagues.

Attendees will receive the full presentation deck.

Get out of bed early to get a head start on the 2018 Federal ICT market and be in a position to align your strategies with government priorities.
