Tuesday 12 January 2021 - "Keeping Informed" - Service updates and practical guidance from TAFE NSW and Carers NSW on how to best utilise funded programs and supports to achieve employment outcomes.

Guest Speaker - (Sarah Judd-Lam - Carers NSW Manager Policy and Research) presenting the 2020 National Carer Survey results and analysis of issues for carers balancing paid work and care.

Tuesday 9 February 2021 - "Young carers and their Journey" - the Carers NSW Young Carer team presents an information session focused on skills and strengths young carers gain due to their caring role. The team will also speak about some of the challenges young carers face and where they can access support.

Carer-in-profile – John is 20 years old and cares for his mother who lives with mental illness. John is currently studying at TAFE and is employed part-time as a peer worker, supporting other carers of people living with mental illness.

Tuesday 9 March 2021 - "Recognising Lived experience" - Discussion around how carers can better acknowledge and communicate their lived experience including how to gaining recognition within education and employment spheres.

Carer-in-profile – Geoff is a former carer of individual with complex needs who has obtained a Certificate III Individual Support at TAFE NSW through recognition of prior learning for his caring role.

Tuesday 13th April 2021 " Live Well, insight into health issues and ways to manage as a carer ". Discussion around effective models of health and well-being support for carers and opportunities to draw on lived experience to achieve work outcomes in the health sector.

Carer-in-profile - Chrissy Tay is a Health coach with a background in Nursing who draws upon her lived experience to support other carers achieve health and well-being goals.

Tuesday 11th May 2021 "Positive Pathways for Mental Health Carers". Discussion around opportunities for mental health carers to utilise lived experience in work and study.

Carer-in-profile - Anne Stedman - Educator and Trainer at TAFE NSW and for Mental Health Carers Network who is a strong advocate for employers supporting lived experience.
