Event description

Description

The Big Design Trade is an industry only event providing an opportunity for buyers and stylists to source the best independent design products from across Australia. Choose from beautifully handcrafted ceramics and textiles, ethically made kids clothing, small-batch organic body products, locally designed homewares, and capsule collections from independent fashion and accessories designers.

Registration is free for all industry professionals and allows multiple day access to The Big Design Trade between 2-4 August 2018. Pre-registration is encouraged.

Your ticket will be emailed to you once registration is complete. Event updates will be emailed in the lead up to the event – you can unsubscribe from these if you wish. At no time will we share contact information with third parties.

Non industry professionals may attend alongside a registered professional on all three days of the event. The entry fee for non industry professionals will be $20 per day, payable on arrival.

FAQs

Can I attend the event multiple times in a day or on more than one day?

Yes, once you have registered you can enter and exit the event as many times as you wish across the three days.

Do I need to print my ticket?

Upon completing registration, you will be emailed both a mobile and printable paper ticket. You can either print your ticket or we can scan your mobile ticket from your phone when you enter the show.

Can I register my colleagues on their behalf?

Yes, you can register up to 10 attendees per application. All attendees must belong to the same business with the same ABN. You will be able to forward them a registration confirmation.

What identification do I need to show to prove my professional credentials?

We require all attendees to have an active ABN and we also suggest bringing a business card.

Does the name on my ticket or registration have to match the person who attends?

Yes, the registration must match the person attending. As the event is free to attend it is not essential to cancel your registration if you change your plans.

Can I update my registration information?

Yes, you can log in and update your information at any time up until the event.

Can I make direct purchases at the event?

No, exhibitors will only be taking wholesale orders at the event.

Can I bring my children?

This is an industry only event therefore we request children do not attend.

What are my transport options to and from The Big Design Trade?

There are multiple transport options to and from the event including our free shuttle bus that will run between Meat Market and The Royal Exhibition Building every 30 minutes from 10:30am outside Meat Market. For detailed transport options please refer to our website.

Is the event wheelchair accessible?

Yes, the event is located on the ground floor and is wheelchair accessible.
