The Bays Health & Wellbeing Program - Hip to be healthy
Event Information
Description
Hip to be healthy session
Creaky knees? You're not alone. Regular exercise and maintaining a healthy weight are key to preventing one of the most common medical conditions, osteoarthritis.
The ageing process can lead to joint pain and stiffness, and can ultimately impact an individual's mobility making everyday activities difficult and painful.
Attendees will hear from Orthopaedic surgeon Mr Andrew Chia on ways to keep joints healthy and options for treatment.
Other presenters include Danyel Walker from BreastScreen Victoria and Jo Lovelock, The Bays McGrath Breast Care Nurse, who will discuss the importance of breast screening, the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, common risk factors and the importance of early detection.
RSVP's essential. Light refreshments provided.
