Gut health is a thing, and we’re understanding more and more about it all the time. Come along to this informative session to learn what you can do to improve your gut and overall health through simple nutrition and lifestyle changes.
Join Dr Richard La Nauze, Gastroenterologist & Mr Ali Andrabi, General Surgeon, as they explore the gut and brain connection and how this impacts our physical and mental health. Learn the science behind these connections and what dietary changes you can make to start improving your own health.
Topics include new research in the link between the gut and the brain, how gut microbes affect inflammation and what a day on your plate following the Mediterranean diet looks like.

The Bays Healthcare Group and a team of local experts have come together to encourage local residents to retain, or regain their health and wellbeing.
The Bays Health and Wellbeing program aims to improve people's health by addressing the underlying causes of health problems. Dedicated to improving healthcare in our local community, all sessions are offered free of charge.
Is the event free and open to the general public?
Yes, the program provides our local community with free health promotion and education.
Do I need to print/bring a ticket to attend?
No need to print/bring a ticket to attend, however we do ask that you register to attend the event. Please note sessions do fill quickly and we suggest you book early.
Parking?
Free parking is available onsite.
Catering?
Tea & coffee will be served at the event.
