Event description

Description

This workshop is aimed at credentialed diabetes educators who are new to diabetes technology and seeking an introduction to report interpretation for insulin pump and continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) reports.

The workshop will be facilitated by experienced CDNE's who are frequently interpreting reports to guide diabetes management in clinical practice.

Attendees can expect a practical learning experience to showcase how to prioritise and review specific report areas to better understand glycaemic patterns.

The workshop will focus on Carelink (Medtronic), Diasend (AMSL Diabetes) and Libreview (Abbott) reports.

Please note the following will not be covered:
- Advanced clinical features such as predictive low glucose suspend and automatic basal adjustment
- Advice for clinical pump setting adjustments

Attendees may also be interested in attending the Running an Insulin Pump Service Workshop which is scheduled 9.00am - 12.00 noon on the same day (Full Fee $200; Early Bird $175). CDE's are eligible to claim 4 CPD points toward ADEA credentialling for the morning workshop. You can register for both events and receive a combined ticket discount by selecting the relevant ticket type (Full Fee $325; Early Bird $275).
