“Few could deny the musical talent within this group” – Sydney Morning Herald (July1993)“Get On Board is the kind of record you want to keep playing over and over” – The Age“It’s an honest helping of rhythm and blues with lashings of country and western and Motown groove. After extensive tours in Australia and Europe, The Badloves released their second album in1995, "Holy Roadside" to critical acclaim, a Top 15 chart debut, further ARIA nominations, and another string of hit singles in “Slave”, “Barefoot Bride”, “Living Thing” and “Caroline”,establishing them as one of this country’s premier acts.

While The Badloves wagon has rarely left the road in 30 long years, their recording outputhas been sparse. The drought finally broke in late 2019 when the band released the superb‘Soulbrothertruckin’song” – their first new single in 17 years.

The Badloves continue to build on their legacy with the arrival of their latest single, ‘Tribal’,which has already receiving strong support from Australian radio. The song was inspired byone of Michael Spiby’s recurring dreams. Spiby explains – “I don’t usually remember dreams, they’re so hard to catch. But often enough I wake up disturbed by this one recurring theme…how will I keep my little tribe together in tough times, am I up to the task? ‘Tribal’ is my recurring dream, caught in the light of day”

January 2021 will see the release of the band's 3rd new track "Midnight Sun". The band is currently working on another 7 tracks in preparation for the release of a new album in 2021, to be mixed at the legendary HippoSonic Studios in Vancouver, Canada by Darren Grahn (Metallica, Bon Jovi).
