  • Module 8: Listening skills in student recruitment
  • Module 9: Recruiting via third party partnerships
  • Module 10: Powerful message delivery skills
  • Module 11: Negotiation techniques for win-win outcomes
  • Module 12: Personal organisation, planning and preparedness for optimal performance and enhanced productivity

The objectives of this course are to provide you with:

  1. Enhanced student recruitment knowledge as well as the skills necessary for student recruitment: Gain new knowledge about how to effectively prospect for and deal with future students, parents, agents, sponsors and other partners while learning new techniques on how to influence the aforementioned to choose your institution and courses over those of competitors.

Richard Geddes, Managing Director, Optimal Student Recruitment

Before launching Optimal Student Recruitment, Richard worked in senior positions managing domestic and international student recruitment for Edith Cowan University, Murdoch University and the University of Adelaide (2003-2018).

In 2018, Richard resigned from his role as Director, Student Recruitment and Admissions Services at the University of Adelaide to start Optimal Student Recruitment. Richard's passion is to work with education institutions to provide them with reliable and sustainable solutions for their student recruitment challenges.
