Description

Join us at SILO Paddington on Saturday the 7th Of April for this unique and heart opening experiential workshop "The Art Of Connection". This will be an intimate workshop with only 10 tickets available.

WHY CONNECTION?

The Art Of Connection is designed as an introductory workshop for people at all levels who are looking to deepen their self-awareness, gain a better understanding of themselves and others in a safe and supportive environment. Connection is about being deeply seen, heard and met in the present moment. This workshop focuses on creating a deeper sense of belonging and knowing that we matter and were not alone in our journey. It’s a stand against isolations, loneliness, and disconnection.

This is more than a sit-down and take notes workshop. You’ll be actively participating in the workshop and learn about yourself through real-time experiences of connection and exploring how you form relationships with yourself and others.

IN THIS THIS WORKSHOP YOU WILL :

Learn about the power of human connection and why we need it.
Gain a deeper understanding of your current relationship with yourself and others
Discover and unravel some of your patterns in relationship and how they impact on your family, partner, friendships or work.

Learn how to create meaningful and authentic relationships with others.
Develop awareness of how you move closer to connection and intimacy and away from loneliness and isolation.
Expand your level of self awareness and be challenged to grow.

The second half of the workshop is fully experiential and will be therapeutically facilitated group work.

Workshop participants will get to choose a specific, interpersonal goal or issue they want to explore in a safe and supportive environment. Within the group, each person can explore how their experiences contribute to personality, behaviours, and patterns they might experience. They can also learn to understand and change behaviours that are destructive or unhelpful in real life.

To get your wheels turning, here are a few example topics you could choose:

• Difficulty communicating what you want
• Developing better social skills
• Developing better communication skills
• Understanding personal behaviours
• Feeling too shy to speak up in social situations
• Challenges sitting in conflict without feeling the need to interject
• Difficulty expressing anger
• Lack of confidence
• Understanding relationship issues
• Gaining Awareness of feelings & emotions

Workshop participants will have the opportunity to interact with others who face similar issues and discuss individual goals and challenges in a productive and inclusive environment conducive to interpersonal process work and honest inquiry.

We’ll take advantage of the unique group environment to provide safety, support and honest feedback among members. We'll discuss and practice new social and interpersonal behaviours through role play, group engagement and one-on-one interaction.

We'll also dedicate time to receiving and providing valuable feedback to other group members to encourage maximum growth. As trust develops, we're able to see the commonalities we share with others and open ourselves up to new experiences in an honest and heartfelt way.

We know participants will come in the door wearing many social masks, it’s our hope that through this process, every member will begin to feel safe and accepted enough to drop those masks and fully engage in the group therapy environment.

WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE
