The art and craft of making jewellery : One day workshop

Ever wondered how fine earrings and pendants are created? Come along and learn how with brilliant local silversmith, Karen Harvey. In this one-day, hands on workshop, Karen will guide you through the first steps to crafting your own unique jewellery piece.
There are limited places so Karen can give everyone individual attention, so book now!
You will get to make and take home at least one item of jewellery- earrings or a pendant, working with copper.
All equipment, tools and machinery needed to create and finish your piece are supplied, plus basic tea and coffee making.
Karen will cover techniques such as using wire, saw-piercing, shaping, texturing, filing and finishing in a fun & relaxed way.

- safety glasses if you have some.
For saftey reasons please wear covered toe shoes ( no sandals), tie back long hair and don't wear loose clothing such as flared sleeves or scarves.
Minimum age for participants - 16 years.
