The Amazing Race - Family Edition!

Give your family a team name and get racing accross the finishing line in our family edition of The Amazing Race!

Solve the clues and get to the next checkpoint. Learn about the Bunbury region as well as general fitness and nutrition in a fun and interactive way in which the whole family - of all ages and abilities will enjoy.

Be the first team back across the finish line with a completed checkpoint card to win the race!

Part 1: 'The Amazing Race will start and end at Bunbury Public Library. Give your family a team name and get ready to race opposing teams. Your mission is to figure out each of the clues provided to get to each check point where you will receive your next clue - until you finally make your way back to the library for lunch.

The first family or team back at the library across the finish line with a completed check point sheet wins the race and will receive a prize hamper to take home and enjoy!

Part 2: Join Danae back inside the library to discover the basics of healthy eating. Prepare your very own scrumptious but nutritional lunch and enjoy a picnic in Anzac park - adjacent to the library. * Lunch will be provided and prepared by attendees aged 4-15years. For those outside of this age, please bring a packed lunch and join us in the picnic. Fridge space is available. *

About Danae Cornford (HappyWhenFit Bunbury)

Danae is a school teacher, personal trainer and holistic health coach. She is passionate about finding personal growth in striving to be the healthiest and happiest version of herself and sharing that with other people so that they can do the same.

Danae grew up in a small country town in South-Western Australia. Her upbringing nurtured community values such as generosity, support, quality relationships, nature, having a valued voice, and respect.

These values build the core of her programs, as she believes the sense of purpose and meaning that come from belonging and contributing to our communities, is the missing link between health education and implementation of healthy behaviors. Danae loves anything outdoors and in nature. She enjoys dancing, singing, playing guitar and songwriting in her spare time.

HappyWhenFit is Danae’s passion, her heart and soul. She truly wants a healthier and happier future for our children, communities and environment. It is her life's work to make positive change starting with our youth.
