Event description

Description

Stone & Chalk invites you to our first fireside chat in our monthly Alumni Series: ALUMNI CHAPTERS

Featuring Alex Scandurra in conversation with Chris Bayley, Co-Founder of Cover Genius.

American author Alex Haley once said that in every conceivable manner, the family is the link to our past, bridge to our future. Stone & Chalk are pleased to invite back those in our fintech family who have graduated so that we can celebrate their successes, learn from their experiences and together explore what the future holds.

In our brand new Alumni Series, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Hear first-hand accounts of their startup journey’s highs and lows
  • Learn about ‘what worked for them’ and ‘what they wish they had done differently’
  • Seek advice from industry leaders who understand the complex fintech ecosystem
  • Gain valuable industry insights
  • Connect with fintech alumni leaders
  • Uncover the keys that led to startup success

Joining Alex Scandurra, CEO of Stone & Chalk, is Chris Bayley, Co-Founder and Head of New Products at Cover Genius. Chris has spent over 3.5 years growing Cover Genius to enable the world’s largest ecommerce companies to sell insurance to their global audience and by June 2018 it reached +100m users per month. Cover Genius has been awarded; Winner of Smart50 2017: Awarded to the fastest growing company in Australia, Winner of the Best Insurtech 2018 at the Fintech Australia “Finnies” awards as well as a finalist in the EY Entrepreneur for 2017.

The event will commence with light refreshments and nibbles on arrival, followed by a 60 minute discussion and Q&A.

Keep your eyes peeled for more upcoming events as part of our monthly Alumni series:
