Lease security is a critical risk area in commercial property management and one where agencies can easily expose themselves to professional indemnity claims if processes are not handled correctly.

This practical workshop breaks down the different forms of lease security used in commercial leasing and focuses on how to manage them correctly from commencement through to release. It addresses common errors in documentation, record-keeping and communication that often go unnoticed until a dispute arises.

The session takes a practical, operational approach focusing on what agencies actually do day to day and highlights where additional care is required to protect the owner’s position while ensuring the agency operates within its authority.
