Friday 8 September - 6:30pm: Expo Welcome Dinner (Presented by The Funeral Directors' Association of NSW and their Sapphire Partners: ACC Higgins; Hyqual Australia; and Foresters Friendly Society)

Freshwater Ballroom, Novotel Sydney Olympic Park Hotel, Olympic Boulevard, Sydney Olympic Park

6:30pm Drinks & Canapes with a Seafood Buffet Dinner commencing at 7:00pm

Cost: $140.00 per Adult & $25.00 per Child (12 years & under - children's menu applies). Price includes meal and drinks.

Dress: Casual

Join fellow funeral directors and suppliers from around the world for an informal evening on the eve the Expo. A charity auction in support of Fight MND will be held during the night with all proceeds going to help find a cure for Motor Neurone Disease.

Held onsite immediately following the conclusion of the expo at 6:00pm

Cost: $140.00 per Adult & $25.00 per Child (12 years & under). Price includes meal and drinks.

Dress: Casual (stay as you are after the expo)

This informal cocktail style event will allow funeral directors, expo visitors and exhibitors to mingle in a relaxed, casual atmosphere whilst enjoying the evening with food being served throughout.

In conjunction with this year's Expo, ACC Higgins is excited to announce that the 6th ACC Higgins Funeral Industry Leadership Forum will be held at the Novotel Sydney Olympic Park Hotel on Friday 8 September 2017. How do I get to the Expo?

The Sydney Olympic Park precinct is centrally located within the Sydney metropolitan area and has parking available on site. Olympic Park train station is adjacent to the Expo site and regular services link Sydney Olympic Park with the rest of Sydney's CityRail network. Numerous bus, ferry and taxi services frequent the area and further information can be found on the Sydney Showground website. Is there food and beverage service available on-site?

A cafe and bar area is situated on site and will be open throughout the day of the expo serving food and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. For those who choose to attend the dinner functions in the evenings, food and drinks are included in the ticket price.

What should I wear to the expo and dinners?

Both the Expo and the dinners are casual events. Visitors should wear comfortable clothing and footwear - particularly to the expo.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

There is no minimum age requirement to enter the expo but identification may be required if you lose your ticket or to prove your identity and entitlement if you win a raffle or competition at the Expo. Proof of age may be required if you wish to consume alcohol at the Expo (available on site) and/or during the evening dinners (alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are included with the purchase of a dinner ticket).

Do I need to be at the Expo to enter the draw for one of the $2,000 Flight Centre Gift Cards?

Yes, you must have attended the expo on Saturday 9 September 2017 between 9:00am and 3:00pm and had your entry ticket processed in order to be in the draw for one of the $2,000 Flight Centre Gift Cards. The draw will take place after the Expo during the dinner function but you don't need to be present to claim the prize. You will be contacted if you are one of the lucky winners.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes, you'll need to bring your ticket and present it at the first official event you attend (Friday night dinner or the Expo). Once scanned, we'll issue you with a personalised ID card and lanyard which becomes your ticket in and out of all events that you have booked. Your paper ticket will be placed in the barrel ready for the major prize draw of one of two $2,000 Flight Centre Gift Cards to be drawn during the dinner on Saturday night following the Expo.

If you misplace your ticket, please contact the Australian Funeral Expo office as soon as possible and we'll arrange for a replacement to be issued.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Yes, you can transfer your ticket into someone else's name. Simply contact the Australian Funeral Expo office with the details and we'll be happy to reissue the ticket in the correct name.

What is the refund policy?

If you find you can't make it to one of the Expo dinners after booking your ticket, please let us know so we can cancel or transfer it. If you've paid for a dinner ticket and can no longer attend, we'll be happy to refund the purchase price back to you as long as you advise us prior to 18 August 2017.
