THIS SESSION IS PERFECT FOR...

• Teen's from ages 13 - 18 years old
• No previous experience required
• Previous dance experience, switching studios, trying a new dance style is welcomed
• Teen's who want to gain more confidence, self-respect, and new friends
• Those who want to learn real dance technique in a fun, friendly, professional studio setting
• For those passionate about dance who may wish to do medals, exams, DanceSport, social competition, performances, dance teaching, or become a professional dancer!

We love to teach children to dance after all the Australian Bureau of Statistics just reported that Dancing is the 2nd, 2ND, Most Popular sport in Australia at the moment!

So, you’ve come to the right place. We have a strong emphasis on actually teaching your child to dance and not just play games or run around thinking its dance-related.

Our Children’s Ballroom and Latin movement class is a very fun and easy way for your boy or girl to learn to dance.

These classes will help with your child’s physical and mental development and as your child grows they can continue learning in our Junior and Teenage Latin classes.

All classes are based within ACT School Terms.

TEEN FAQ'S

DO YOU OFFER A TRIAL CLASS?

Yes, you can come for the first class and pay $20 and then pro-rata the remainder of the term. However, you will need to contact us first to arrange this as it will depend on the term and the start date.

DO YOU STILL ACCEPT CASH PER CLASS?

No, for these classes you will need to pre-register for the entire Term.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY CHILD CAN’T ATTEND A CLASS?

All term payments are taken in advance but are non-refundable, non-transferable and non-creditable. However, all payments are pro-rata which means you only pay from the 1st class you attend until the end of the term.

WHAT IF I HAVE MORE THAN 1 CHILD IN MY FAMILY, DO I GET A DISCOUNT?

Yes! We can absolutely help you out and would love for you to dance with us. Simply select your amount of children above.

2 Children 5% off | 3 Children 10% off

Children must be from the same family. The percentage is on total term amount for that class.

WHEN ARE EXAMS HELD?

We only conduct exams once per year, generally at the end of the year.

IS THERE A SEPARATE COST TO THE EXAMS?

Yes. Each medal you do has a cost to it which covers using a highly qualified examiner, hall hire, medal costs, administration, and other expenses.

WHAT IS CONTACTLESS DANCING?

In the current climate and to protect our studio patrons we do not require our teachers to dance with students but it is at their discretion.

We also do not require other students to dance with other students and we do not force those who came with partners to swap.

WHAT IF WE GO INTO LOCKDOWN?

The show must go on! Thankfully we have a fully dedicated YouTube studio and equipped to deliver your HD quality Zoom classes should this happen.

All classes will continue at the appointed time and a Zoom link will be provided to you. You don’t need anything special to attend and we have taught thousands of students online so you’re in good hands.

DO I NEED TO WEAR A MASK?

We follow mask mandates but once we commence dancing as it is a vigorous exercise we do not require you to wear them.

WHAT CLOTHING & SHOES DO I WEAR?

LADIES: Low or high-heeled enclosed shoes and non-restrictive clothing. We don’t recommend mini-shorts or pencil skirts or gym shoes are they restrict movement.

MEN: Enclosed leather shoes are best. We don’t recommend shorts or jeans, no tank tops and sneakers will grip too much.

DO I NEED A PARTNER TO ATTEND ANY CLASS?

Absolutely NOT. All individuals are welcomed and encouraged.

If you have a partner we do not for you to swap and dance with others.

DO I NEED PREVIOUS DANCE EXPERIENCE?

No, we do not require you to have dance experience.

If you have danced at another studio you are more than welcome here.

FUN is a must!

*Lockdown Plan: If we go into lockdown all our dance classes go immediately online via Zoom at the regularly appointed time. We don’t transfer, credit, or refund in full or partial. You agree to this by signing up for our classes

*All are welcomed to our dance classes regardless of vaccination or not

*If you're sick, displaying any cold or flu symptoms DO NOT come, unfortunately, we can’t give a refund for missed classes due to sickness

*If you've just come back from interstate or overseas travel please make sure you follow all the official guidelines before entering the studio

*Practice good sense, good hygiene, and get ready to dance!
