Planning to bring a school group to the Library?

Book your self-guided visit to explore the Library’s magnificent spaces, exhibitions and collections at your own leisure.

Bookings are a one-hour duration.

Due to limited space capacities, one ticket equals to one school group of up to 50 students.

To help create a covid-safe experience, school groups are asked to meet the following requirements when visiting the Library:

  • Break students into small groups of up to five before entering the Library
  • Adult supervision required for students Prep to Year 8, per small group
  • Adults must check in via the Services Victoria QR code
  • Teachers are required to keep a record of all attending students for contact tracing purposes.
  • Masks must be worn indoors at all times, for anyone aged 12 years and over  
  • Maintain safe physical distance of 1.5 meters from other visitors
  • Due to limited capacities, rotate one small group through any space at a time
  • In consideration of other bookings, remain within the allocated session time
  • Students remain the responsibility of teachers at all times.

Cancellations terms

  • If you need to cancel your booking, it is your responsibility to do this via Eventbrite, no less than 4 days before the attendance date.
  • Booking via Eventbrite constitutes an intention to attend and confirmation that you have read and understood all applicable terms (which are provided in Eventbrite at the time of booking).
  • It is your responsibility to check that all information, including student numbers, are correctly listed in the booking.
