Queensland Heath in partnership with Department of State Development, Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning (DSDILGP), invite you to attend a Tendering for Business and Capability Statement workshop. This workshop is for local businesses and suppliers, interested in applying for tenders and work packages for the Cairns Hospital Mental Health Unit Redevelopment, to increase your chances of tendering success, both on this and future projects.

About the project

• Total project funding $70 million

• Project consists of the demolition of existing facility and provision of a new 53 bed facility built across 3 levels.

• Administration and outpatients on the Ground Floor and Inpatient Unit of levels 1 & 2.

• Request for offer to be released in mid-February 2021, with tender award due in May 2021 and Practical Completion in November 2022.
