The Tenancy Skills Institute was developed to improve access to accommodation for prospective tenants, increase property management efficiencies and boost the bottom line by producing the best rental tenants around.

Our approach sees community members, individuals and the real estate industry coming together to create better housing options and outcomes for all.

We developed a training package in partnership with property managers, to enable all members of the community to be fully prepared for a residential tenancy. 'Skillsets for Successful Tenancies' is a course that educates and supports tenants to develop the skills they need to sustain long term and successful tenancies.

The course is endorsed by real estate agencies and increases graduate’s chances of securing a rental in the private market. It has been designed to facilitate learnings in the areas identified by property managers as the most common causes behind failed tenancies.

In Queensland, Skillsets for Successsful Tenancies - Dollars and Sense is funded by the Queensland Government.
