Tenancy and Property Managers Network Meeting

Are you a tenancy or property manager working in social or affordable housing in Queensland?

We’re creating a peer networking group for managers like you to connect, share, and learn from each other’s experiences. This is your space to discuss real challenges, exchange strategies, and explore solutions and ideas for the scenarios we all face in managing tenancies and properties in the social housing sector.

Why join?

Discuss emerging themes and risks in tenancy/ property management and share strategies for complex situations, including:

1. Sustaining tenancies
2. Tenant distress, mental health, hoarding and squalor etc
3. Managing antisocial behaviour
4. Complicated neighbourhood dynamics
5. Applying the RTA to tenancies, for example when tenants have breached their tenancy agreements.
6. Responsive maintenance
7. Vacancies
8. Any other property and tenant related matters that arise.

This is a shared learning space where you can share your expertise, learn from peers across the sector and build professional connections and support networks

Our goal:
To create a practical, supportive, and solution-focused space where we can tackle the unique challenges of managing social and affordable housing tenancies together, learn from each other’s successes, and improve outcomes for tenants and communities.

This group meets on a recurring basis. The meetings this year will be held in May, August and November.

Our meetings and training are recorded for Q Shelter training and development purposes and are not for distribution.
