"A Film about HOPE " Tohoku, JAPAN and Sydney AUSTRALIA

The Great East Japan Earthquake hit hard in the hearts of all Japanese people, and for the rest of the World, this terrible news was a shock. Among The Northeast Region (Tohoku) of Japan’s prefectures, Fukushima, Miyagi and Iwate were the most severely damaged, facing the potential for an ecological disaster. From a tragic event to what happened next, the film draws-up an invisible bridge between two countries, Japan and Australia; crossing back and forth between the effort from locals to show us the best of the TOHOKU region, the JCS Rainbow Project's mission in Australia supporting the TOHOKU's children and their community, and travellers from around the world who visited this amazing part of Japan since March 2011. It’s a film about hope, and seeing life from a different angle. It is about powering through difficult times and challenges, and learning from our experiences in order to overcome any adversity. It’s about being more generous, compassionate and understanding towards one another, working as a collective, working as a whole.
