Cancer Council Victoria is working with Deakin University to conduct a series of telephone focus groups with people diagnosed with cancer in Victoria and their carers to learn more about their experiences in being informed about the costs of cancer care and the impact it has during and post treatment.
The research will contribute to Cancer Council’s work to develop a strategy to inform patients about any costs associated with their cancer treatment before they start their treatment so they can make informed decisions regarding treatment pathways.
This telephone focus group is for people who live regionally and have been treated for cancer predominantly in the private system.
Joining the telephone focus group
1. To take part in this telephone focus group please register for the event by clicking on the Register button.
2. Once you have registered you will receive an email with a telephone number and pin number.
3. Just before the focus group is scheduled to start, call the phone number and enter the pin number when prompted to join the conversation.
