Techboard Roundtable: The Future of Funding for Australia's Startups SYD1
Event Information
Description
Following on from a successful pilot in Perth in December 2018, Techboard and RSM come together again to present a series of Techboard Roundtable events.
Techboard Roundtables are a new twist on a panel session where we have panelists around a table having a facilitated conversation on a topic related to startup and tech funding, informed by Techboard’s data all in front of a live audience. View the first Techboard Roundtable.
At this first Sydney Roundtable our panelists will be discussing the future of Startup and Tech Funding in Australia. The conversation will explore issues and trends including those identified by Techboard in its funding reports and sharing insights from the panelists own experience.
In addition to the Techboard Funding Reports which we have been producing since 2017, Techboard is convening these Roundtable sessions with the hope of helping enrich the discourse around the challenge of funding startup and tech in Australia.
The discussion will be facilitated by Jessica Olivier of RSM and Peter van Bruchem from Techboard.

The Techboard Team has a favour to ask.
We are working hard to capture as many funding events as possible for Australia’s and Sydney’s burgeoning startup scene. We collect our data in a variety of ways from semi-automated media scraping to manual research and also through companies and investors making direct reports to us. The City of Sydney has also recently subscribed to access our funding data to help it monitor the growth of its ecosystem. To ensure we get the best data possible we encourage companies to report their funding events to us, either in an announcement or a report.
