Are you building an app or a web based platform? Get up to date with building tech products with our Tech Ready 2 Day Intensive: Product Management, Prototyping & Programming Workshop for women only!

We’ve carefully selected 4 core modules from of our 10 Week Accelerator to bring you a 2 Day Tech Ready Program which will help you get tech ready as you begin to build your own business or are starting out in the tech startup space. This workshop will help you identify your minimum viable product (MVP) or optimise the usability of your existing product you just can't get off the ground.

*Each day is strictly limited to 15 x participants

Course Overview:

After studying with our 2 Day Program, you will be able to:

Communicate effectively with developers in regards to technology;

Create wireframes, and basic prototypes - and learn which ones are more effective for a product;

Design a product road map;

Identify product market fit;

Measure a product’s success;

Choose the right common development tool;

Get an understanding of different technology stacks and have a go at coding!

Day 1

Session 1: Product management fundamentals

Session 3: Prototyping + UX design

  • Practical tools for prototyping

Day 2

Session 1: Communicating with your development team

  • Technology for non-tech product managers

  • Product roadmap

  • Project management & product specs

  • Introduction to Github

Session 2: Introduction to Programming

  • Coding basics and web basics

  • Introduction to API’s

  • Setting up servers and hosting

  • Coding and web basics

Day 1

Magda Cortez, Senior Product Manager at EBay

Magda Cortez is a curious and creative product manager who has spent the last 12 years crafting cross-platform digital experiences. She is the Senior Product Manager at eBay Classifieds Group currently working on Gumtree. Magda is responsible for shaping experiences that connect buyers, sellers and brands within Gumtree using data, messaging and AI technology.

Day 2

David Bolton, Head of Engineering at Woolies X

David leads digital tech teams to get outstanding technology and business results now, and sustaining performance in the future. He particularly enjoys evolving existing org structures and practices for a digital tech landscape. David began programming at a young age, and moved straight from frequenting BBSs to trawling the web. He has a Bachelor of Science and an MBA. Professionally he has worked with everything from corporates such as News Corp, Telstra, Westfield, Woolworths, ING Direct, along with a handful of unknown small companies and startups.

Workshop logistics:

Our program is limited to 15 participants on each day, enabling us to deliver personal feedback and engaging activities. Our facilitators have years of experience in product development and engineering and can help you to make more educated product making decisions. The workshops are intense and run from 8.30am to 5.30pm in the Sydney CBD. Lunch, morning and afternoon tea is provided on site.

Please bring your laptop, a notepad, a pen or two. Tech Ready Women will provide any other stationary you require.
