Teaching in pluridisciplinary ways for improved employability: A new e-Tool
Monday, 31 October 2016 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm (AEST)
Associate Professor Jason West has been awarded an Australian Government Office for Learning and Teaching fellowship to explore pluridisciplinary learning and teaching pedagogies in evolving technology fields to enhance graduate employability. Pluridisciplinary learning requires two or more disciplines to combine their expertise to jointly develop and deliver learning and teaching outcomes in an area.
On Monday 31st October 2016 (2:00pm to 4:00pm), Jason will be delivering a half-day workshop at QUT showcasing preliminary findings of his national fellowship research and the application of an interactive e-Tool that can be used to assess the pluridisciplinary nature of a subject. Attendees will have the opportunity to utilise the tool and discuss the implications for their own subjects.
