Event description

Description

TeachMeets are informal, collaborative experiences organised by educators for educators in order to share ideas and experiences and support each other in professional growth.

TeachMeet SydSciFest will bring teachers (science and non-science alike, across K-12) to share experiences, innovative practices and new ideas in teaching. The evening will consist of quick-fire presentations. This is a fantastic opportunity to network and share ideas or just soak it all in!

Get excited for the night ahead by visiting the Sydney Science Festival Expo, meeting science communicators and educators from across Australia who have been participating in the Science Festival at the Australian Museum.

There are spaces open for 2 and 5 minute presentations. Presentations can be about anything, including science and the great things happening in schools around National Science Week and the Sydney Science Festival. If you would like to present, please fill out presentation details here: https://goo.gl/forms/3eO6FB2on0EOEg7j2

While the workshop is particularly aimed at anyone who teaches science, everyone is welcome.

Start a conversation and get the word out on Facebook and Twitter using #TMSydSciFest. Happy science-ing!

Please note, this event is for an audience 18+ years.
