About this event
Bring your toast and a hot cup of coffee for our must-see webinar on Collective Leadership and how leadership shifts are essential for supporting collective impact and shared benefit across ecosystems.
OVERVIEW
The outcome of the recent Australian election appeared as much about leadership as anything else - reflecting a shift from traditional top-down, paternalistic, heroic styles of leadership - to ones that are more purpose-driven on big issues and opportunities, have integrity, are more inclusive, and are more authentically collaborative.
The 'Australian Leadership Index' also suggests there is much to be done to restore trust in institutions and their leadership across the board. Furthermore, Australia’s ranking on the ‘Global Innovation Index’ suggests that whilst there are lots of great things happening across our innovation ecosystems, it is the ‘social capital’ – that is the networks of relationships and connections – that are often missing.
Clusters and Collective Leadership can provide the glue and the ways of working to unleash more potential for transformative change and for supporting shared benefit across innovation ecosystems.
“..leadership is a distributed or collective capacity in a system, not just something that individuals do. Leadership is about the capacity of the whole system to sense and actualise the future that wants to emerge." - Otto Scharmer
“I often say that leadership is deeply personal and inherently collective. That’s a paradox that effective leaders have to embrace.” - Peter Senge
