Event Details

Have you seen Newcastle City Council’s Master Plan for Wickham?

The draft Wickham Master Plan outlines the envisioned future character of the area and establishes various strategies that build upon the opportunities and challenges identified in order to guide future redevelopment, public domain and infrastructure plans and works.

With potential impacts and opportunities for businesses in the Throsby Basin Business Chamber, NCC have agreed to provide special consultation with our members.  Please come along to Carrington Place on Wednesday 31st May at 5:30pm, where Johannes Honnef, Senior Urban Planner, will provide a brief presentation on the draft Wickham Master Plan followed by Q&A session.

We encourage all members to come along and familiarise yourself with the plan, so that any concerns or opportunities can be identified early on.  It will be a great opportunity to ask questions, and gain further insight.

Please also remember the Throsby Basin Business Chamber will be submitting a formal response to the plan and we would love to hear your feedback so we can include this in our response.

This is a free event (buy your own drinks).

Throsby Basin Business Chamber

Throsby Basin Business Chamber (TBBC) was formed in 2014 with a view to making a difference to local businesses through collaboration, inspiration and opportunities. Regardless of the size or type of your business you will benefit.

This is a thriving business community that has been unrepresented on a local level for too long.

We are hoping to create opportunities by connecting businesses face to face and

looking into untapped possibilities. In addition we will keep you informed of any

local issues that affect us all.

TBBC chamber welcomes your input and we value everyone’s opinions. It helps when you share your concerns about local issues. Our chamber is always interested in being of assistance.

You will find we are a very friendly inclusive group.

Please come along to one of our networking events or general meetings

as a guest or if you would like to learn more, one of the board members would be

happy to catch up, somewhere local of course.
