About this Event
Experience the sights and scents of the season as he shares his knowledge of native plants.
Each tour is accompanied by morning tea in the garden (weather permitting) featuring some of the flavours found in and around Canberra and the Forecourt Garden.
Summer:
- Thursday February 4th 2021, 10–11.30am

- Saturday February 6th 2021, 10–11.30am
- Saturday February 6th 2021, 1.30–3pm
Cost: $25 adult, $20 concession, $17.50 Museum Friends
*Please note that while the tours are seasonal, dates have been selected around when the plants in the garden are most likely to be flowering or producing.

Adam Shipp
Adam is a Wiradjuri man based in Canberra. A skilled communicator and passionate bush food advocate he has a wealth of knowledge and understanding of native plants in and around the ACT.
Adam prides himself on his strong work ethic and proven ability to design and deliver catered programs, projects and workshops. His knowledge and passion for his culture and people drives him to connect the community to the food and medicine plants that grow on country.

Yurbay offer a range of services to connect you, your family, friends and work colleagues to local food and medicine plants from the region. Workshops and talks are available at your office, lecture hall, centre or school providing a hands on experience. They also offer guided walks on country.
