Event description
Join us on a bush walk through the Glen Forrest Superblock as we follow part of the landcare journey of the Friends of Nyaania Creek

About this Event

This Friends Group will showcase their experiences and methodology with rehabilitating diverse landscapes. Examples include valley clays, a degraded waterway, a granite outcrop, grassy sedgelands, a north-facing slope, a 1990’s revegetation site and a road verge. This is a great opportunity for you to learn best practice rehabilitation methods suitable for your bushland patch. This interactive walk requires a reasonable fitness level to ensure you can manage the bush tracks, get hands on with plant activities and hopefully see some wildlife.

Suitable for ages 13 and above. Park on Sealey Road and meet at Nyaania Creek bridge.

Bring your own morning tea for a picnic on a granite outcrop in the reserve.
