Event description

Description

No entry fee, no qualifying time, there is no mandatory gear list and there is no secret handshake required... All you need to do is grab a ticket and join us for a great evening of running inspired entertainment and education.

Brewster's Running presents the second 'Tales From The Trail' evening where you get to learn something, be entertained, win stuff AND drink some of the best craft beer going around.

Join us at Two Birds Brewery in Spotswood on Tuesday 10th of October, from 6pm onwards for a great night of all things running.

First up, Paul "Mr Suunto" Day will teach us how to actually use that expensive bit of technology we all wear on our wrists. Paul will show you how to load a route and navigate using your Suunto GPS watch in real time. You can even join him for a brief jaunt around the streets to test out your new found navigational ability.

Don't have a Suunto watch??? That's ok - we have beer. So we'll keep you busy while the Suunto'ers duck out and geek out for a few minutes.

The team from The Running Company in Yarraville will be there to launch their new store and GIVE AWAY some FREE SHOES!

Everyone's favourite Race Director / Trail Running Tour Guide / Magazine Editor, Chris Ord will be there to take us on a virtual trail running guided tour of some of the most epic and adventurous running trips you could ever imagine. Drool over the photos on the big screen as he tempts and teases with his trail porn, and listen to the tales from the trail as only Ordo can tell them.

If you haven't been to Two Bird Brewing before, you are in for a treat! Food and beer is available at the bar and we look forward to sharing the night with you all!
