Event description
See Inglewood reimagined in this community artwork led by City of Stirling Artists in Residence Campbell Whyte and Elizabeth Marruffo .

About this event

Tale Town Inglewood is a community art project which encourages us to look at our neighbourhood with a renewed curiosity.

Reimagined as a place of magic and wonder, see stories of Inglewood represented as a diorama of soft sculpture and assemblage, as well as a newspaper of comic art.

Featuring vignettes and comic strips by locals who have worked under the guidance of the Artists in Residence over five weeks to transform personal stories into a collective narrative.

This opening night event features an Artist talk by Elizabeth Marruffo and Campbell Whyte from 5pm.

Join us for some warming cocoa and meet the Artists and the locals behind the exhibition which will remain on display until Saturday 26 June.

This exhibition is a result of the City of Stirling Artists in Residence project. See other events by visiting www.stirling.wa.gov.au/air
