#TakeTheStance @ THE BAY!
Our United Stance Against Abuse
Over 50% of people will at some point in their lives be directly affected by mental or physical abuse, we believe that society can collectively evolve and make a difference, take a stand against violence and diminish the acceptance of abuse.
Abuse is the misuse of force, both internal and external, to cripple, to damage, to destroy, to disempower. Alternatively, martial arts is the study of the proper understanding and appropriate use of force, both internal and external, to grow, to heal, to protect and to empower.
To help trigger an evolution, we are uniting the martial arts community in an educated and active stance against abuse, thus leading the wider Australian community to create complete cultural change.
We empower survivors of abuse through our specifically tailored programs, to give back what was taken from them, confidence, stability, freedom of thought, emotional wellbeing and happiness.
These twelve week programs are provided free of charge to all participants. Upon completion, participants are encouraged to continue their training and remain part of a larger social environment, free from the fear and the threat of abuse.
Our current programs are run in a number of suburbs across Melbourne with more to be launched in 2017 and we need your help. We invite you to attend our campaign launch, with funds raised going directly to our empowerment programs.
