Black Swan’s Artistic Director, Clare Watson, will host a unique panel discussion for her directorial debut with the company on Let The Right One In. You'll hear from film aficionados on the vampire/horror genre and the significance of the Swedish film and novel, Let The Right One In by John Ajvide Lindqvist. A film that is considered the No. 1, Top 10 vampire film of modern time, alongside The Lost Boys and Interview With a Vampire. Artist Rachael Dease will also offer her perspective on the stage adaptation of the film by Jack Thorne and how to create an immersive soundscape that supports the story’s themes and builds on the elements of horror and suspense. Plus, attendees will have an exclusive opportunity to see the set in advance of the season opening.

Host and MC, Clare Watson, Artistic Director of Black Swan State Theatre Company will be joined by:
• Simon Miraudo, editor Student Edge, award-winning writer and critic, contributor to The Guardian, ABC Radio and RTRFM
• David O’Connell, Arts and Film Editor at Xpress
• Rachael Dease, Composer/ Sound Designer Let The Right One In.

6.30pm panel discussion (in HLT foyer)
