About this event
Every serious dressmaker or tailor needs a tailors ham for their workroom, so join me for an afternoon to make one for your sewing space!
A tailors ham is a firmly stuffed cushion which is used to mould shaped areas of garment construction such as darts. Pressing on a curved form allows a garment better to fit body contours.
A tailors sausage or sleeve roll is used as an aid when pressing sleeves, or awkward spaces such as bags.
You can choose to make one, or both. All materials are included, however you can bring your own fabrics if preferred. I will have supplies for stuffing available on the day.
