About this Event
This Tai Chi course is for adult beginners focusing on the basic fundamentals of the exercise, as well as discussion on the principles of Tai Chi and health of mind, body and spirit. Explore how the practice of Tai Chi can directly benefit us in our daily life with new friends! Tai Chi is a martial art which has been passed on for centuries. The art of Tai Chi encompasses not only the development of physical skills, but moreover equips practitioners with skills of introspection and self-reflection, enabling one to implement changes from within, leading to self-improvement and personal elevation. Therefore, the art of Tai Chi includes the skill (outer) and the virtue (inner).
Classes will include an opening presentation, practical Tai Chi session followed by time for discussion and sharing.
This is a series of 6 sessions on Fundamentals of Tai Chi - we encourage you to join us for the entire series to get the most out of it
Session outline:
Opening presentation - approx. 15-20 minutes
Tai Chi practice - 40-50 minutes
Discussion - 20 minutes
