About the speakers:

Dan Hunt - Dan played 150 games for the St George Illawarra Dragons over 9 years. During this time, he struggled with and overcome many adversities. He was diagnosed type 2 Bipolar in 2010 and recalls that when he was really struggling mentally he felt alone, didn't know where to and how to get help, he had no understanding or education in the space of mental health and mental illness and he was scared and thought it was weak to ask for help. He knew others would be having similar experiences, thoughts and feelings and he knew if he could share his experiences, knowledge and coping strategies he could help change them. This is what motivated him to create the Mental Health Movement. Dan has studied in the areas of Mental Health, Community Services, AOD, Fitness, Business and Career Development.

Haydn Tawse - Founding partner of Prescribe Exercise, Haydn is a practicing Accredited Exercise Physiologist with over 25 years of injury and corporate health experience. Haydn combines his passion for manual handling and injury prevention with his knowledge of organisational strategy and systems management to ensure programs and services are tailored perfectly to each client. Haydn is a health and safety expert with a strong focus on preventing musculoskeletal disorders and controlling hazardous manual tasks.
