Event description
Come and have some fun, learn how to sew and do your bit to reduce the effects of climate change!

About this Event

Plastic is overflowing landfills, floating in the oceans, strangling marine life and overwhelming our beaches. Meanwhile, 10.46 million of tonnes of fabric waste is created globally each year. Boomerang Bags is a global, grassroots movement connecting and empowering local communities to tackle plastic pollution at its source. At this free workshop, we will learn how to cut, pin and sew colourful tote bags while helping to reduce single use plastic bags in our local community. Come and have some fun, learn how to sew and do your bit to reduce the effects of climate change!

We understand things change and sometimes you are unable to attend our workshops, but please let us know so we can offer your spot to someone else.
