Systems of the Trail is an abstract visual journey inviting curiosity when exploring natural environments. From cellular to summit.
In this project, we highlight the biodiversity whilst trail running throughout Geboor/Mount Macedon, magnifying flora and fauna and showcasing the often overlooked ecological interactions of a trail run.
As part of the exhibition, Matt Willocks will be hosting two trail runs meeting at At the Above Gallery, then convoying out to Mount Macedon to explore the flora system on foot.
