Event description
West Australian Music (WAM) presents a free workshop on how to get your music licensed to film, TV and advertising.

About this event

We’ve all experienced the joy of a good tune popping up on our TV screens, but have you ever wondered how artists get them there? Join us at the WAM Music Hub as we dive into the wide world of music sync licensing, and how you can get your music in film, tv and advertising. Moderated by Matt Johnson (North Metropolitan TAFE, Walking Horse) with special guests Phylicia Chong (Secret Road Music Services) and Dave Tenni (Lolly Box Music), we’ll be running through what sync licensing means, the opportunities available for WA artists and expert advice to give you the best outcomes. Whether you’re new to the space or already have a sync deal under your belt, you’re sure to come away with some fresh tips and tricks.

Attendance is free for all WA based artists and industry practitioners. Registration via Eventbrite required before 12pm WST, Monday 29 November 2021.
