Join us for an interactive education session, utilising group discussion and case studies to provide a greater understanding of palliative care.

Target Audience:

This workshop is for General Practitioners based in Victoria (AUS) who care for people with a life-limiting illness. Practice Nurses are also welcome to attend.

Facilitator: Dr Chris Grossman MBBS, B.Med Sci, FRACGP, FAChPM. Palliative Care Lead Researcher.

Dr Grossman is a Fellow of the Chapter of Palliative Medicine of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, a General Practitioner and lead palliative researcher at Calvary Health Care Bethlehem (CHCB), Victoria. Chris is a passionate advocate for education and research in Palliative Care. His main research focuses to date have been on providing evidence-based treatments for patients suffering existential issues and advocating for equal care for minority health groups.

Time: 6.00pm – 8.00pm

A WebEx link and guidelines to access will be provided prior to the workshop, after registrations via Eventbrite close (approx. 4 days prior to the workshop date).

Workshop Pre-requisite:

To maximise learning PEPA offers 6 online GP learning modules. The modules have been developed by the Palliative Care Education and Training Collaborative and can be accessed by this link: https://pepaeducation.com/register-interest-in-placements/

PEPA is an accredited educator with RACGP. Workshops are eligible for Category 2 CPD points
