"This is Lady Gaga's 'The Monster Ball' but re-imagined for 2022 with some of Sydney's monstrous creatives and underground DJs I've been inspired by recently. With this edition, I wanted to fuse Gaga's iconic 'Fame Monster' era, themes from Dragula, and underground electronic dance music in a high-energy rave manner.

It is more of a dance 'til you dead (like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs once said) and less of a stand and show. The production is broken up into acts and it intensifies as the event progresses. It's a real multi-sensory experience! Even down to the lights.

As always, the supreme runway will happen for everyone to show off their fabulous looks. This will be the only time we expect people to stop dancing and start strutting. It's gonna be one for the horror books!" - The Chic Coach
