Description

We are excited to announce that award winning author, Matthew Condon will be 'in conversation' with us at Hawkesbury Central Library as part of Sydney Writers' Festival 2019.

Condon has been a journalist for more than 30 years, and for the past decade has been investigating crime and corruption, and is the author of the bestselling true crime trilogy Three Crooked Kings, Jacks and Jokers, and All Fall Down.

His new book The Night Dragon, centres on the fatal Whiskey Au Go Go nightclub firebombing in Brisbane in 1973. Matthew was awarded an Order of Australia Medal in 2019 for his services to journalism and the community.

Wine and cheese will be provided at 6.30pm with the talk commencing at 7pm.

Copies of his book will be available for purchase and signing. We look forward to seeing you there!
