SYDNEY TEA EXPO

A unique experience bringing together Chinese culture and tea with the Australian community.

The SydneyTea Expo will be held at ICC Sydney on 21-24 November 2019. It is an interactive experience designed to help the Australian community experience Chinese culture, especially tea culture.

You can spend a full day tasting all sorts of teas from over a hundred exhibitors and enjoy tea-related forums, ceremonies, performances, workshops and tastings at this four-day event which will extend your tea appreciation of the finest brew. Click here for the full program.

Teaware, handcrafts, Chinese paintings and calligraphy are also displayed at the event, transporting you to the height of Chinese traditional culture.

Scale: The largest Chinese tea expo hosted overseas after the 1st China International import Expo

Activities in the Expo-

Buyer & Supplier Connection: Local Buyers will have opportunity to meet with suppliers face to face. Local trading company will be onsite to help with import business if necessary.

China Tea Pavilion: More than 100 well knonw tea brands from China, bringing a large variety of tea, tea wares, furniture and showcasing Chinese Tea ceremonies.

Australian Tea Pavilion: Local tea makers will also present their blends. Valuable experience can be shared with the exhibitors from China

Tea Appreciation Centre: there are 6 main kinds of tea in China and tea masters will let the audience try all 6 brought by the exhibitors and the audience decide their preference type or a particular brand exhibited in the expo

Chinese Gallery: Chinese paintings and calligraphy will be displayed in the Expo.

'Love Between Two Cranes' Photo Exhibition: Extraordinary photography exhibition of magestic cranes.

Tea Forums & Programs: Tea experts from both China and Australia explore the topic of the opportunity and risk of China tea and tea culture go overseas; share experience in promoting tea in a changing market。

Performances: Chinese Worship Master will join the delegate and work with Australian local ceremony artist to present rich oriental performances.

China’s highly acclaimed China Oriental Performing Arts Group will also give stunning performance in the Expo.
