About this event

Our world faces a climate crisis caused by the continual burning of fossil fuels and fueled by growth in population levels. rapid economic expansion and unsustainable levels of consumption. The impacts of climate change and global warming require us to urgently address issues such as managin infrastructure, land degradation, water and air pollution and unsustainable consumption which are all pressing issues confronting our country. However there is a growing movement to form and introduce new consumption patterns; patterns which are both sustainable as well as adaptable to improving standards of living. Food supply and sources form a crucial element to begin the building of these new patterns. Both consumers and producers are seeking ways to make their practices sustainable.

Join us on 9th September for a day exploring ideas and initiatives, celebrating practices and acknowledging achievements on the journey to a more sustainable future. Look and admire what our school students can and do achieve!
