Event description

Description

In partnership with Sydney Ideas, Writer-in-Residence Dr Mark Tredinnick, Dr Frances di Lauro (Writing Studies), Dr Megan Le Masurier (MECO), and Dr Beth Yahp (Creative Writing/English) discuss the process of writing in the digital age. The event is chaired by Professor Annamarie Jagose, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.

The Sydney School of Education and Social Work’s Artist/Writer-in-Residence program launched in 2011 and has since welcomed luminaries including Ali Cobby Eckermann, Libby Gleeson, Nadia Wheatley and Andrew Upton to work with our students, staff, alumni and community. This year we welcome poet Mark Tredinnick – winner of the Montreal International Poetry Prize in 2011 and the Cardiff International Poetry Competition in 2012. Mark is undertaking a number of events and workshops as part of his residency.

The Sydney School of Education Writer-in-Residence 2018 is generously supported by the Copyright Agency.
