About this Event
The origin of Finska? Finland! So let's have a tournament the day before their Independance Day
Finska !! Played that game on some lawn with family and friends? Always believed you were a crack at it? Then it is time to show it to the world, or to Sydney at least
Location will be in the beautiful place of Birchgrove, Ballast Point Park, we will meet in the old Silo (Round place)
All Coronavirus restrictions will be respected and this outdoor gathering will be less than 30 people.
Some hand sanitiser will be made available during the day.
If you feel unwell, please do not come.
Tournament is organised thanks to the help of Planet Finska
We will have 2 distinct tournaments:
First in the morning, from 10AM, Single Tournament (Each team is only one person). There is a limit of 28 participants.
The tournament will be a single knock out round played in best of 3. If you lose one game you are out (We will do a few ranking games still for the fun to continue)
Cost is $10 per person.
Second tournament, Double (Team of 2 players). There is a limit of 14 teams. This will be a double-elimination bracket. If you lose once, you still have a chance to win. If you lose a second time, you will be out of the tournament (potential ranking games to be played). Every game will be best of 3.
Cost is $15 per team.

PRIZE/REWARDS
Some rewards will be given to the 3 best teams in each tournament.
This includes an engraved thrower to remind everyone your success in the tournament.
There is no bar available around but we have access to public toilets and also an outdoor BBQ.
BYO Drinks and food for outdoor Barbecue.
If time allows it, we will live stream the finals on the Finska Sydney page for everyone to have access to it.
How are we gonna play:
9.30-10.00: welcome of players
10.00-12.30: First tournament, Single Tournament
12.30-13.30: Break for lunch
13.30-17:30: Second tournament, Double Tournament
