The SDN 2021 Annual Conference will celebrate our activities and initiatives within the Network and will be held on the 30th of April, 2021.

About this Event

Dear Sydney Dementia Network Members and Friends,

Our 2021 Annual Conference to celebrate our activities and initiatives within the Network will be held on the 30th of April, 2021. The afternoon conference will detail the amazing research and clinical work currently underway in NSW and will be held in person for a limited amount of people, and also live-streamed via Zoom.

The SDN is very happy to invite Prof Robert Sanders to deliver the keynote address, 'Surgery, Delirium and Long-term Cognitive Decline', as well as Dr Stephanie Wong to deliver the EMCR keynote, 'Financial skills in ageing and dementia: assessment and insights for targeted interventions'.

We will also hear from key LHD representatives in the SDN, as well as hold several data blitzes detailing ongoing work across dementia research. A full program is to follow shortly to all those registered.

A virtual poster session will be held, if you would like to be considered please submit a title and abstract to bmc.sydneydementianetwork@sydney.edu.au. There will be a prize for best poster, announced on the day.

Looking forward to seeing everyone there. Please note, there is limited seating available to attend in person due to continued limits on University spaces. Please register early to avoid disappointment, otherwise the conference will still be available via Zoom.

Please contact the SDN Exec at bmc.sydneydementianetwork@sydney.edu.au for any additional details.
