Swell - A Reimagined Live Music Experience
Sat. 22 April 2017, 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm AEST
Swell is an ambitious blend of live music, art, wellbeing and design that creates an experience of the surprising and soul opening kind.
Let’s adventure to the end of the earth and experience it through the art of live music: a language that transcends logic to connect us with others, self, spirit, and place.
A place remote.
Full of fascinating contradiction, much like the human condition.
Where ocean wild meets bay calm,
Blinding beauty meets frightening form, and
Hope inspiring biodiversity meets manmade structure.
A place steeped in history set against ever-changing tides.
An indigenous women’s place turned military defense base.
A place open to enter yet still partly off limits.
A Day Adventure For The Curious
So far we have gone behind the scenes of a hotel and into the basement of an abandoned hospital. Each time creating something entirely new.
This time our imagination takes us inside the remote forts and tunnels that lie amidst nearby Point Nepean National Park on the Mornington Peninsula.
Swell will take place at Fort Nepean, a place inaccessible by car within Point Nepean National Park.
The ticket collection point will be at Gunners Cottage. From there, you have two options for making your way through the park to Swell: Shuttle or Guided Walk. We will ask for your preference at the time of ticket purchase.
Coming to Swwell on Saturday? Start your adventure from close to home. For $25 you can add on our Journey to your ticket. Departing in the afternoon, returning in the eve, from Melbourne or Balnarring.
1 pm Ticket collection point opens at Gunners Cottage
2 pm Live music history tunnel opens at Fort Nepean
3pm-6pm Ticketed experience at Fort Nepean
